RESEARCH Research everything! Most people think of research as boring statistics! But it doesn't have to be. There is a world of research knowledge already at your fingertips. Can you answer the when, where, what, who and why about your existing volunteers? That is, when did they hear about your volunteer recruitment message, where did they hear it, what attracted them, who did they connect with and why did they volunteer? This will tell you so much about your current volunteer base in no time at all. Continually look at refining and improving your recruitment plan. Question: Who can help me begin this process? Answer: Your volunteers.
